Vitaly Cashev and I dedicated really great deal of our time in producing and designing this skin wonder. The task was demanding but the reward is huge. I am on a dual boot machine running XP and Windows 7 (sorry Vista but 7 is just better!) and when  I am on XP using this Windows 7 skin for Aston2 Shell sometimes I get carried away thinking that I am on real Windows 7. Blah.. I hear you saying but yes we did a good job and if you don’t trust me see it your self.

You can get the skin for Aston2Shell at the skins page and try it first hand. Soon I’ll post a tutorial or two on how I recreated some of the Windows 7  UI elements.   I hope you’ll like this one.

Now this was a huge task and I wouldn’t do it without great help of Vitaly Cashev, greatest Aston2 skinner, (so far ). I though it would be easy at first but it took much longer than I have ever expected. The end result is satisfactory and what I like is that we incorporated some Aston2 Menu features pretty good. Something to kill some time before Windows 7 is released and the cool thing is that you can have this start menu even on Windows XP.
