Vitaly Cashev and I dedicated really great deal of our time in producing and designing this skin wonder. The task was demanding but the reward is huge. I am on a dual boot machine running XP and Windows 7 (sorry Vista but 7 is just better!) and when I am on XP using this Windows 7 skin for Aston2 Shell sometimes I get carried away thinking that I am on real Windows 7. Blah.. I hear you saying but yes we did a good job and if you don’t trust me see it your self.
You can get the skin for Aston2Shell at the skins page and try it first hand. Soon I’ll post a tutorial or two on how I recreated some of the Windows 7 UI elements. I hope you’ll like this one.

Win 7 release is scheduled for 22th october so need to kill some time…
Haha, I know. I need to finish the nVidia theme/tutorial (which will be outdated now lol) and then learn to skin A2 properly.
Don’t rush to A2 skinning just yet, I know I have promised many useful tutorials on that subject but I am kind of waiting for skin editor…but when will that be I just cannot tell
Very awesome theme! I’m really loving Aston2. One thing though. Would it be possible to try to animate the start button’s glow to be more accurate? It looks kinda ugly.
