I have been thinking about this for quite a long but at the end with the huge help from Nick Egorov I managed to put PlanetAston on WordPress. After I had read a book on WordPress theming I decided to try to make one theme on my own by editing existing one. So I did and seems that it turned quite ok but it is still far from over. Although WordPress is quite easy to setup and to get start I couldn’t do it without Nick’s help on setting up the mysql database  but having some basic knowledge on html and css was really helpful in skinning WP. Skinning experiance was handy as well.
If you are interested why I did it, well to be honest I made few html pages so far even made few very small websites from “scratch” for my friends but I was always more involved in designing process so having to many pages to think about was overwhelming for me. I was thinking of publishing platform so I thought about using Joomla or WordPress I now many will say WordPress is just for blogs but it is not and on the other hand I wanted to have that blogish feel. Anyhow I’ll keep you inform on my struggle at least I’ll publish more stuff more offten now that is for sure.
